With Gus away at a corporate retreat, Shawn finds himself alone and bored. He goes to the police station hoping to get involved with a case. Overhearing a conversation between Chief Vick and an older man, he learns that the man’s daughter, a tennis player named Deanna Sirtis, has gone missing. Shawn tells Chief Vick that he can use his psychic powers to locate Deanna while the police continue their search. However, he must first use a well-crafted lie to get Gus out of his important retreat.
